Sensible Sustainability

Puzzle

Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out.”

Vaclav Havel

In ecocivitas we see sustainability as a big puzzle that must be put together by all sectors of society. We are convinced that society has all the pieces to complete this complex puzzle, but it is not fitting them together in the right way.

Fostering sustainability without a clear vision is akin to trying to put together a puzzle without knowing what the final image will be. While it is possible to move forward in this way, progress will always be slower and more costly as the lack of direction makes it difficult to define and implement an effective methodology.

We believe that spreading a vision that helps all citizens make sense of sustainability is paramount to its effective promotion. For this reason, we have designed a programme of activities to present the principles and importance of sustainability in an innovative way, adapting the information to the immediate context of the stakeholders.

In this way, the people, communities and companies we serve can more easily recognize the impact that the problems sought to be solved through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have on them, while identifying more clearly what actions they can take immediately to contribute to the mitigation of these problems.
